Nyabiosi residents in Gesima Ward have been advised to cooperate with the police by volunteering vital information to help curb the rising insecurity in the area.
Speaking to this writer on Monday, area senior Chief Magara Makori urged residents to work with the administration and provide them with any information they have regarding criminals who are giving them sleepless nights.
The senior chief's sentiments comes three days after the burial Andrew Momanyi, a policeman who was brutally murdered by gangsters in Nyabiosi.
The deceased was laid to rest on Friday even as residents lamented over deteriorating state of security.
“Investigations is ongoing but we wish to urge any resident with information to report to help us to get the criminals,” said Magara.
The administrator at the same time urged residents to maintain peace and order as police continue with their probe.
“We have been having some emerging issues concerning our security, I would like to ask all residents to be vigilant and help each other in improving security,” said chief Magara.
“We have put measures in place to improve security, we will not allow criminals to take control in this location we will deal with them hence we advocate for co operation from all residents so that we can end this problem,” added Magara
