Two suspects have been arrested with connection to the kidnapping of baby Kelson Kimani, who was taken from his home in Section 9 View land estate Thika.

The whereabouts of Kelson remain unknown but police have said that they are pursuing credible leads.

On the fateful day, Kelson's mother arrived home to find her children and their grandmother held hostage by gunmen.

"They held me at gunpoint and threatened to hurt my children if I did not cooperate. They took my son despite giving them Shs300,000," she said as reported by Citizen digital.

The family has recorded statements at Thika police station and police have assured them that they are working round the clock to apprehend the culprits and return the 4-year old boy to his parents.
