A family in Nakuru has called on the county government to assist in the search of their daughter, who allegedly disappeared on January 4 at a Nakuru Matatu terminus.
According to the girl's father, John Luntsa, the girl, Caroline Mwelesi, a former pupil at St Joseph primary school disappeared when they were in town awaiting to board a bus to Kakamega to attend the funeral service of their uncle.
Luntsa said he does not know how he can explain the disappearance of his daughter, as its shocking and in explainable.
"I cannot explain how she got lost, her mother and I were seated on the bench and we sent the girl to buy some Mangoes just fifty meters away, but since that time we have not seen her,” said Luntsa.
He added that the girl had joined form one at Naivasha Girls High school, and he had bought everything ready to take his first born to a high school.
He further said that he had reported the matter to the police, but to date, the girl’s fate is not yet known.
He has urged the Nakuru county government to assist him in searching of his daughter.
