The powerful political brokers with vast experience in government workings is said to be rooting for an Opposition government albeit without an Odinga presidency.

The Kenyan Citizen Weekly splashed a story on the behind-the-scenes spanner works within the Opposition.

It listed billionaires Stanley Githunguri, Media Mogul SK Macharia, former Attorney General Charles Njonjo, Jimmy Wanjigi, Joe Wanjui, Joshua Kulei and Alfred Gitonga.

The guys are known to have massive wealth and political networks cutting across the governments in Kenya and elsewhere.

Though we could not independently verify if the moneyed-brothers are indeed funding NASA or the gutter press got it wrong, a political pundit said there can be ‘some truth in the story because a number of guys in the list are known to have fallen out with Jubilee’.

Our network of sources within Nasa could also not delve much saying funding has remained a tightly guarded secret.

“Many guys fund us, we have a pool of guys coming on board to support this movement. Why just pick on those fellows?” the source asked.

SK Macharia has however being vocal on supporting Odinga. During the 2013 presidential race, he came out publicly that he would use ‘all he has’ to make sure Raila wins the top seat. This earned his Citizen TV the moniker Cord TV.

Raila was then running on a Cord ticket.
