The 2017 World Happiness Report has listed countries according to how happy their citizens are.
The Report, which relies on data gathered by the Gallup World Poll, ranked Norway as the World's happiest nation.
Denmark is the second happiest country while Iceland and Switzerland are third and fourth respectively. Finland completes the list of top five happiest countries in the world, according to the United Nations report.
On the flip side, African countries – Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi and the Central African Republic – are among the saddest countries in the world as listed in the report.

Employment, income inequality, national gross domestic product, lack of corruption in government, and business and social support are among other factors in the countries' scores.
"All of the top countries rank highly on all the main factors found to support happiness: caring, freedom, generosity, honesty, health, income and good governance," reads the United Nations report.
Kenya moved 10 places up in the 2017 report to position 112.
In Africa, Kenya is the 13th happiest country. Somalia is ranked 5th in Africa despite the instability facing the country.
