NASA Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga’s quest to power received a major boost following the nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win in the last general elections. The former prime minister stands a better chance of becoming the next president of this nation considering the current political situation in this nation.

The decision of Chief Justice David Maraga to annul the presidential election left Uhuru a wounded man. Uhuru had it all until he lost his cool following the nullification of his win. The team Wakora has haunted Uhuru during his recent campaigns not only in Kisii but also the entire nation. Some of the voters from this part of the nation already perceive President Uhuru is a man who will ‘finish’ one of their own for not ruling in his favor.
Chebukati
The chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Wafula Chebukati is another man to watch. The chairman has opposed the controversial elections amendments as tabled by Jubilee, which is a sign of fire. Chebukati was asked to leave a meeting by MPs when he appeared alone. The IEBC head was asked whether he had attended the meeting as an individual or on behalf of the commission. It seems the opposition has no problem with Chebukati despite having declared Uhuru the presidential election.
