Molo is historically and up to date a very cold place. To survive around here, these are must-haves;
Appetite for tea
Gladly milk is not an issue here. Tea joints are staggered all over. Befriend tea. Consume at all times. Cold won't blush at you!
Never be idler
There are so many pieces of lands, muddy roads, harvest to be taken to the market, cows to be fed and cow sheds to be cleaned. You can't beat cold by being idle. Work is the main cure for cold!
Heavy-duty clothing
Gumboots, marvins, jackets and sweaters are must-have as long as you're in Molo. Walk around with an umbrella and a rain coat, the seasons are unpredictable here!
Eat. Eat. Eat.
Food can be a problem elsewhere in the country but not in Molo. Potatoes and maize are basically available on and off season. Cold loves attacking empty and half fed stomaches, to survive here, eating heavily is advisable. Crunching roasted maize and muturas is a nice solution to keeping busy and cold away.
