[Photo/Zipo.co.ke].Currently NASA and Jubilee outfits are pursuing the Kenyan voter as August 8, nears, each side is promising the mwanainchi better life if elected. However, according to political analyst Barack Muluka politics is all about power it is about the use of authority and influence. It is, indeed, about control and management of resources and determination of who gets what, how, when and why.Muluka states that both Jubilee and NASA are sweet talking the local mwanainchi in a bid to secure power but the biggest test will be how the voter benefits once they get the reigns of power."Ever since NASA happened, Jubilee government has lost focus on its agenda. Where this government should be telling us about what it is doing and what more it could do for us, it is wasting much talking about NASA and their pursuit for power," he said."It is also true that in order for them(NASA) to stay together, they had to craft a promissory power sharing formulae of sorts. It is anyone's guess whether the formulae will give them power or not. One thing remains, however. I want them them to begin telling me what is in it for me as a citizen," he added.Muluka further states that NASA might have managed to unite leaders together through a promissory power sharing deal but it is not time to celebrate yet because the local mwanainchi also wants to know what is in it for them."I want to understand what they stand for. What promissory note are they giving me, Yes Jubilee has failed me. So why should I trust NASA, how are they going to be different," he said. The analyst challenged NASA to speak more of their promises in Kenyan rather than Jubilee."Dont tell m about Jubilee this, Jubilee that. Just tell me why you think I should vote for you, tell me something positive I can believe in, this power cannot be just about the leaders. It must also be about the people including those whom Jubilee likes lying to that this is their government. They too must be made to feel that they belong," he said.
