Ruto also visited one family in NGwataniro village to launch the Last Mile Programme that aims at providing power to all at a low cost.

Usually, the DP and his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta launch such projects in homes of the poor as they try to drive a narrative of improving the lives of the poor masses.

Such photographs usually go viral on Facebook and twitter as Jubilee supporters hail their leader for being humble for visiting the poor.
