The newly released State of the Judiciary and Administration of Justice Report has revealed counties with highest criminal cases.
The data released on Monday was recorded in 2017.
The report indicate that a total of 250,864 criminal cases were filed at Magistrate Courts across the nation.
Meru led in murder cases with 111, with Eldoret coming in second with 102. Nairobi and Nakuru were tied at third with 91 murder cases each.
The High Court in Kisumu recorded 36 murder cases, Bungoma had 31 while Migori and Busia had 22 and 16 respectively
Mombasa came second with 6,106 cases. Nakuru and Naivasha tied with 5,553 cases of traffic violations.
Nairobi, Murang'a and Kericho counties are leading in creating disturbance.
Nairobi recorded 1,984 cases while Kericho and Murang'a had 1,222 and 1,055 cases respectively. The list of cases of Drunk and Disorderly was also similar with Eldoret, Nairobi, Kitale and Kericho topping.
Eldoret recorded 2,469 such cases with Makadara and Kibera Law Courts in Nairobi recording 1,439 and 1,150 cases respectively.
