National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has expressed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s illegitimacy using a deep riddle.
Known by expressing the current issues through riddles, Mr. Odinga narrates the story of the autocratic King Herod.
Through his message to wish every Kenyan a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Raila said that the Christmas story reminds the people of the needless pain and sufferings that dictatorial leaders have inflicted on the people.
While citing King Herod, the opposition leader said that the mighty King was afraid of being overthrown by a newborn adding that the cruel leaders live in fears and ultimately fall.
“When King Herod heard that another King had been born, he sent soldiers to hunt him down and kill him,” he narrated.While remembering the victims of police brutality during the electioneering periods, Raila narrated that King Herod slaughtered children but failed to kill baby Jesus.
“We remember in particular the innocent, defenseless victims of police brutality and in particular Baby Pendo, Stephanie Moraa and Geoffrey Mutinda,” said the NASA leader praying for their souls and their families.
Mr. Odinga also added that cruel leaders never triumphed over-determined people giving the USA and Soviet Union failure to break the will of Vietcong and Afghan respectively.
