Tough talking Miguna Miguna was Friday on the receiving end when Matiang'i 'mboys' cornered him in his posh Runda home.
Miguna, who portrays the picture of a fearless man ready to take on anyone, was ambushed by seemingly a no-nonesense squad and had to call for help.
He sent a text message, apparently, he was hiding in one of the rooms in his house and could only send a text message.
The message is so mixed up and one can only understand the situation Miguna was in; one part of the message said he is arrested while the other said police were looking for him.
Here is the raw text: “They have arrested me. They have bombed my house and broke everything They are still here. They are searching all rooms. It is an assassination squad. I can’t speak. They are still here looking for me. We need our youth here in numbers. My house is number 486 Runda Meadows. It is urgent and dire.”
Police officer have been on a spree to crackdown on people believed to have planned the January 30 'swearing in' of Raila Odinga at Uhuru Park.
In a country where police officers are usually at the mercy of the system, often being used as political henchmen, thus not so much interested in law and justice, one can understand why Miguna Miguna was calling for help.
But Kenyans always turn things into comic.
"Is this the same Miguna who breathes fire during press conferences and interviews, I didn't know he can coil his tail and text from under the bed," Michael Wangeci posted.
"The General is texting from the ceiling, pwahaha" Maituz Gaitungu said.
