In another case similar to the movie-like narration done by Josephine Kabura, a hair dresser who shocked the nation after she narrated how she made millions from NYS, Ann Wambere Wanjiku Ngirita made millions from the government entity in a flash of second.

The cute Wambere told sleuths unraveling the Sh9 billion theft at NYS that all she did was visit the NYS college in Gilgil, Nakuru  and requested a procurement officer if she could supply foodstuff.

She told the sleuths that the officer gave her a Local Purchase Order.

Although Ngirita was paid the millions, she does not know anything to do with the goods she was supposed to deliver, whether they were delivered or not and where they were even to come from.

“I don’t know what I supplied but I was shown the vouchers at the DCI,” her statement reads.

According to investigations, the 30-year-old lady’s company identified as Annwaw Investments was paid the millions.

“I’m not aware of the procurement process as I have never been involved in any,” she added.

Ngirita is among 43 people who investigators will take to court over receiving money fraudulently from the NYS.
