Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on Monday met National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga at his Capitol Hill office in Nairobi.

Details of the meeting remained scanity, however Kuria has come out to explain what the surprise was all about.

Kuria stated that the meeting was based on what can be done to ensure the country remains united after the divisive 2017 general elecions.

"It's time to unite this country. We met to discuss how we can best bring Kenyans together. I want you to know this is in no way about Jubilee and NASA, we want to have all Kenyanson board including those who don't have a party," Kuria is quoted by Kenyans.co.ke.

The controversial lawmaker further stated that he will visit Kisumu city on Saturday.

The meeting comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta met with Rail about two weeks ago.

The two leaders resolved to work together and unify the country that has been divided along tribal lines.

On Sunday, the two leaders met during the closing of that Kenya Golf open at the Muthaiga Golf Club.
