The new system, if adopted, will see students taking 6 years in secondary school.

The new system will also put emphasis on talent as part of evaluating a student's progress. It is for these two main reasons, amongst many others, that we should support the adoption of this new curriculum.

Students spending 6 years in secondary school will equip themselves with enough skills to handle the outside world even if they do not proceed to college.

The current secondary schools graduates are just a bunch of certificate holders who do not even know to make a simple rain gauge, or a simple electric motor.

The new curriculum puts emphasis on holistic development of a student. It gives the student time to think and become creative on their own as opposed to the current 8.4.4 system where students are pumped with questions and answers (Q &As) without giving room for creative thinking.

With the new system, we shall have more innovators.
