Deputy President William Ruto has warned members of the Kipsigs community against being led by Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto to join the National Super Alliance (NASA).

The Chama Cha Mashinani party leader, according to the DP, has been 'bewitched' by NASA flagbearer Raila Odinga and should be left to stray alone.

"I have talked to this adamant Ruto but it seems Raila has bewitched him. Let him head to oblivion alone," the Deputy President said as quoted by the Star.

Ruto made the remarks when he took Jubilee Party campaigns to Rongai in Kuresoi South, Nakuru County on Monday.

He asked residents to reject Raila during next month polls, saying the ODM leader does not have their interests at heart.

"This region still has several IDPs who were kicked out of Mau Forest in 2009 when Raila was Prime Minister. Would you want to vote for such a person to be President?" he posed.

Ruto further called on area residents to vote for Joseph Tonui, Jubilee MP candidate for Kuresoi South, and ignore the incumbent MP Zakayo Cheruiyot who supports NASA.

"We cannot continue with people who entertain witchcraft. Vote for Tonui who is ready to serve you better," the DP added.
