Kenyans on Twitter now want President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene and bring back lawyer Miguna Miguna from Dubai.
While responding to his Easter message, users of the social platform urged the head of state to wear " a good heart" and ensure the self styled-NRM Kenya general is brought back.
Here are the immense messages made by Kenyans on Twitter;
@lilechikenya said: "@PresidentKEUnfortunately in Kenya under your leadership we had to sacrifice our very own Kenyan comrade Dr. Miguna Miguna."
@PabloKabama asked: "Why dont you celebrate easter by letting miguna free.....let the man have peace of mind plissssssss Mr president"
A user @denisomondil remarked: "No celebration until #MigunaMiguna got his rights remember Jesus died to deliver us and not to oppress us..."
@sam_musungu ironically replied: "Triumph over immunity and disobedience to the rule of law would be something incredible."
@taoi_kip argued: "If you were wise Mr. President you'd read thru the comments and realize that this Miguna issue is really tainting you. Do the honorable thing. Be the bigger MAN, more like President Kibaki."
"Yeah and by soo doing a leader is an oversea...someone with heart of forgiveness.... This far is good but why don't you say a word for miguna miguna...this is one of the legacy we need from u .a leader without boundaries," @justumulli wrote.
Kenyans online have for the better part of the week expressed their disgust over the manner in which the State handled Miguna Miguna on his arrival on Tuesday at JKIA and further his deportation to Dubai on Wednesday.
The controversial lawyer was bundled onto an Emirates flight to Dubai while sedated, but attempts to force onto an onward flight to the UK flopped after he protested that he was unwell and had no requisite travel documents.
