Mombasa County Deputy Governor Dr William Kingi alongside other County officials represented the County and engaged delegates at the official opening of the 3rd Forum on China Africa Local Government Cooperation in Beijing, China.

The forum brought together several local and National government leaders across the world and offered a critical platform for discussing the prospects and potential of the African economies.

This years forum is themed "Poverty Alleviation and Sustainable Development".

"We hope to make the best out of this forum by networking and creating the necessary partnerships with other local governments all over the world for the benefit of our people," Kingi said on Tuesday.
