[Photo|OKM]Kisumu County Woman Representative Rosa Buyu, has opposed Electoral Laws Amendments by the Jubilee leadership, ahead of the October 26 fresh presidential election.According to her, the amendments which have already been tabled before Parliament, are meant to interfere with constitution, for the sake of only a few individuals.She explained what she said the laws mean as indicated below."This is what the Jubilee Amendments mean1. Any judge can swear in the President 2. Any commissioner of the IEBC with support of two other commissioners can declare the president elect 3. The Supreme Court shall not nullify any elections even with glaring illegalities. 4. There shall be a manual transmission of results 5. The results shall be final even if the forms are of whatever form. 6. The chairman of IEBC can be deposed by a resolution of three commissioners 7. Any commissioner can take up the role of the chairman. 8. Printed registers shall be used in polling stations 9. Anybody can chair the meeting of IEBC other than the chairman of the commission.Fellow Kenyans, this is no more a Raila Odinga or a NASA issue. This is about restoring sanity in our great country. We must all resist this madness!Jubilee want to cling to power by all means. SCOK ruling was very clear. IEBC must do the right thing."
