Raila Odinga, the National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate, claims President Uhuru Kenyatta, was drunk when he launched attacks to the Supreme Court judges.

After the judges, led by Chief Justice David Maraga, annulled Uhuru's August 8 polls victory (September 1), in a petition filed by Nasa, Uhuru attacked the judges, in an impromptu rally at Burma Market.

He accused the judges of siding with Nasa, and warned that he would deal with Maraga, once the fresh presidential elections slated for October 17, were over.

According to Raila, Uhuru was not sober, when he attacked Maraga, but rather, 'drunk' a move that saw him call Maraga and his fellow judges 'wakora' (thugs).

Addressing supporters in Kisii County, Tuesday, Raila said Uhuru was drunk when he spoke everything he said, after the ruling was made, and that he was unable to control himself, by measuring his words.

"He went an drunk a lot of alcohol, he was drunk and started insulting Maraga. He boasted himself, and called Maraga 'mkora' and that he will deal with him," Raila said, amid cheers from supporters, who were chanting 'Uhuru must go!' slogans, Tuesday.

"We are telling Uhuru Kenyatta that Kenya does not belong to your father, Kenya belongs to Kenyans. Don't play with Maraga. Before you deal with Maraga, we will deal with you, and take you home," added Odinga.

Maraga, a staunch SDA christian, who hails from the Kisii community, enjoys support from the region. There have been protests in the region, with residents warning Uhuru, against attacking the CJ.
