The donation will be geared towards supporting floods victims in the County.

The County Government of Kilifi through the Department of Disaster Management is still collecting and distributing food and non-food donations even as support to those who were affected when the Athi-Galana-Sabaki River burst its banks.

"I wish to express my sincere appreciation to all well-wishers who have unreservedly contributed in one way or the other to ensure we stand with our brothers and sisters during this hard time. God bless you all," said Kingi on Sunday.

Former Mining Cabinet Secretary who was appointed Kenya's Ambassador to Tanzania Dan Kazungu led the foundation in donating the food items.
