[Photo/ODM]High Court advocate Nelson Havi has slammed Water Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, hours after he was chased in Vihiga.Wamalwa was chased by an angry crowd on Tuesday during the Maragoli Cultural Festival at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi was forced to rescue him after participants at the annual festival chanted anti-Jubilee slogans bringing operations at standstill.Chanting 'hatutaki Jubilee!' and 'Uhuru must go!' chants, they demanded that Wamalwa should immediately leave the venue for the festival to go on as scheduled.Mudavadi who hails from the region, escorted Wamalwa to his car, after which he was driven off.Gunshots rented the air to disperse the angry crowd that had started gathering near the former Justice Minister shortly before he left.Nelson Havi who is vying to be the president of the Law Society of Kenya (Kenya) come early 2018, accused Wamalwa of gate crashing the Maragoli cultural event.He said the CS' gate crashing was why chaos erupted."It was shameful and deplorable of Water CS Eugene to gatecrash and cause chaos at the Mbale, Maragoli cultural fete yesterday," Havi who is pro-opposition, said on Wednesday.
