The High Court has discharged former Chief Registrar Gladys Shollei and six others who were charged over corruption claims.
This comes after the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) sought to withdraw the matter under section 87(a) of the CPC.
DPP Keriako Tobiko argued that by the time they were being investigated and charged, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) was not properly constituted.
The other suspects include;
Former deputy chief registrar Kakai Kissinger, former Director of Supply Cahin Management Martin Otieno Okwata, former Director of Finance Benedict Abonyo Omollo and tender committee members Wycliffe Wanga Ombunde, Nicholas Muturi Okemwa, Nicholas Mbeba and Thomas Oloo Atak.
They were accused of irregular purchase of a house worth Sh310 Million for former Chief justiceWilly Mutunga .
