The road was closed and declared a no-go zone as security officers undertook the Linda Boni forest operation to flush out al Shabab terrorists.

Boni Enclave Campaign director Joseph Kanyiri on Monday said, residents are free to use the road but have to notify police and comply with security checks.

However, No security officers will escort travelers.
