Kenya's field hockey national team(both ladies and men) are in preparations for the African Cup of Nations 2017 tournament that is set to take place in the month of October in Egypt, however, the dates have not been confirmed yet.

Initially the tournament was to be held in the month of August in South Africa but was later moved to Egypt.

Training has been underway since the Month of May.

With the the men training on Mondays and Fridays, the ladies  team are training on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The coaches are confident that the teams will be ready for the championships by the end of September.
