It is very necessary for a parent, or guardian to take a step and search for potential hazards in the house, which can save your toddler's life

Here are some other common potential hazards:

1.The fireplace

Home fires can cause everything from mild smoke damage to total devastation, including loss of life. Starting from candles to an unattended iron could lead to an accidental fire in your home. Always have some fire extinguisher in place, among other measures.

2. Batteries

Be it radio batteries, remotes batteries, toy batteries, or what have you. Keep them well disposed of, as well as keeping such gadgets away from the children.

3. Choking

Toddlers are always inserting everything on their way into the mouth, keep watch on this. Remember earlier this month a man in Mombasa, with all his senses, swallowed a toothbrush, it was an accident happening to a grownup, if about the toddler? More likely. Always watch over the kid it plays, eats, and etc.

4. Small toys

While the toddler finds happiness with the toys, they are not safe at all. They can use them to fight each other, swallow some of its parts, among other dangerous things. Monitor everything around the kid.

5. Dirty and slippery floors

Pesticides and other harmful toxins can be easily tracked into the home on the soles of shoes and can settle into the carpet where your child plays, sits and crawls, and the consequences are so severe. Keep the floor clean all the time. One should be allowed to enter the playing ground for the kid with shoes.

6. Sockets and electrical gadgets

Make sure the socket is out of reach for kids, they should not be allowed to play with gadgets like phones, especially when they are plugged into a socket.
