All form ones across the country were expected to report to school from Tuesday. Many have great expectations about the different schools they were admitted to. However, they will know the fate of their dreams the moment they step foot in this new schools. Here are some of the horrible things all form ones go through as they start a new life in high school:
Difficulties in adjusting to the school diet
Most school’s diet comprises of maize and beans. However, when you are lucky to join a good school, your diet could be a bit more like the one at home. All the same, adjusting to an eating routine has been very hard for so many people.
Bullying by seniors at school
Form two and some four three students have been known to be on the forefront in bullying form ones in high school. Given many form one will be tinny and confused, the older members at school might take advantage to bully them. Others will even take their items by force or even forcefully ask them to do their tasks.
Confused around the school
When you are new in a place, you need time to master routes and routines. Form ones are always confused around the school. They don’t know where this and that office is or where a certain lab is. They keep asking for directions from the senior members who direct them on opposite directions.
Lose of personal items
This one is a must in every school. Any day won’t pass by without complains from a form one who is missing his/her pair of uniform, bucket, bag or even shoes. Most of these items are misplaced, but a good number of them will be taken by greedy seniors in that school.
