[Photo|Vihiga News]A hospital will be constructed in Mahanga Village of Mungoma Ward as an act of honour to the 16 people who perished in a road accident   along Kamukuywa - Kitale road early this month.Vihiga Governor Dr Wilberforce Ottichilo said this during an emotional funeral service for the deceased at Mahanga Primary School grounds on Saturday.In his tribute, Dr Ottichilo termed the untimely death as a disaster to the County.He sympathised with the bereaved and assured that his County government would offer any necessary assistance to the family to fasten the healing process.Ottichilo extended his utmost appreciation to his Nairobi counterpart Mike Mbuvi Sonko for the assistance he extended to the family from which one of his security personnel hails from.The deceased were laid to rest at their respective homes in Mahanga village.
