Speaking on Sunday at Thika Community Hall where he had called a meeting with the residents to discuss about the county government's houses in the ward, Wamwangi asked the youths to go for the money and use it to improve their lives.

Wamwangi's call came a day after Thika sub-county administrator Rose Muthoni revealed during Jamhuri Day celebrations that the sub-county was yet to exhaust its Biashara Fund allocation for this year after many youths failed to apply for the fund.

"This is not the kind of money you just sit down and do nothing about it. You ought to leverage on it and accrue maximum benefit. For those who may not have any idea on what to do with the money, seek assistance," said Wamwangi.

He said that he was ready to organise business forums for them where they would learn tips on how to start and run small-scale businesses.

"Let us have a group of youths who are interested in gaining some business knowledge organise themselves together and we shall invite some experts to advise them accordingly," said Wamwangi.
