Photo/Star.Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Nakuru branch executive secretary Mungai Muhia has assured that the Mumbi community will throw their support behind DP William Ruto in his 2022 presidential bid.
Speaking at the requiem mass of the late sports administrator Kimutai Ngetich who died in a road accident in Keringet Africa Gospel Church on Monday, Muhia said teachers will vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta re-election October 17.
"All Kenyans should stop worrying and know that we the Mumbi community have agreed to solidly vote for Ruto to succeed Uhuru," he said.
Muhia said he will be Ruto's chief campaigner in 2022.
He added that the overwhelming number of votes given to Woman Rep Liza Chelule is proof of support for Ruto.
