In his ruling on Thursday, Justice Kanyi Kimondo said that Keter flouted electoral laws by campaigning out of stipulated time, the claims which the former lawmaker refuted.

Former Presidential candidate Prof. James Ole Kiyiapi however believes that the outspoken politician has a bright political future if he plays his cards well.

According to Prof. Kiyiapi, Keter who has been a thorn in the flesh of his Jubilee Party since 2013, should go back to the drawing board and fight political battles carefully.

"My unsolicited advice to my friend Hon. Alfred Keter, (Pole for electoral loss) But you have a great future in politics, defend your seat afresh with utmost integrity.
