[Photo | SDE]An alleged photo of Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong'o in an M-Pesa shop has gone viral on social media platforms.The photo has received a lot of criticism especially from Jubilee, allied supporters.The online users were surprised with Nyong'o's move to still use Safaricom services despite the National Super Alliance (Nasa) leaders calling on their supporters to boycott the telecommunication company.However, new details indicate that the photo of the Kisumu Governor in an M-Pesa shop was posted on social media three years ago. The picture was posted by a creative Kenyan to portray the professor as an M-Pesa client waiting to withdraw cash shortly after Nyong'o's daughter, Lupita Nyong'o, won the Oscar award.The joke was that Nyong’o was expecting cash from Lupita since she was now a big Hollywood star.
