[Photo: PSCU]After leaving ODM to be the Labour Party (LP) leader, Ababu Namwamba seems to be doing well in Jubilee, after he announced his support for President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy William Ruto's re-election bid.Ababu accompanied Ruto during his tour of Western Kenya's Kakamega and Bungoma counties, Tuesday and Wednesday, where they both rallied support against their rivals, Nasa. The Budalangi MP also accompanied Ruto, to Malava constituency, Kakamega County, where they met Uhuru, after his tour of Kisii and Nyamira counties.Uhuru and Ruto's tour of the Western region seems to be incomplete without the former ODM Secretary General who calls himself 'Generali', meaning 'Power' or 'Of the highest rank'.He seeks to defend his seat on an LP ticket, inJune the August 8 polls.
Given his experience in Luhya politics when still in Opposition, Ababu's campaign for Jubilee in Western Kenya, could spell doom for Nasa, as both coalitions battle for Luhya votes.
