Residents of Bungoma county allied to NASA thronged the town on Monday evening to celebrate the swearing-in of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as People's President of Kenya.
Raila took the controversial oath on Tuesday at Uhuru Park grounds in Nairobi. He was however not in the company of his co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula as was expected.
Nevertheless, the NASA supporters celebrated their 'president' in style. Some carried tree branches while others rode on motorcycles as they sang joyful songs.
