Lawyer Otiende Amollo sensationally claims that IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati cooked figures at the national tallying center in the Bomas of Kenya.
In his rejoinder before the end of Supreme Court hearing, Amollo said the commission made final pronouncements before receiving several legal forms from across the country, a move that he says proved that he tabled false results.
And in his submissions, he pleaded with the Supreme Court to invalidate election of President Uhuru Kenyatta on grounds that it was unconstitutional.
“This is a serious matter that we cannot ignore. At the time of pronouncements, several legal forms as prescribed by the law had not been simultaneously submitted at the national tallying center.
“It is therefore ridiculous that the chairman could pronounce a winner in a result that was neither electronic nor manual if there submission is anything to go by,” he said.
IEBC through lawyer Issa Mansour had distanced itself from public portal results which showed numerous errors in reference to Forms 34As and 34Bs terming it as ‘mere statistics’.
But Amollo says the final tally as announced at the national level deviated substantially from the results posted online which emanated from IEBC.
