If drugs are given to client without prescription, the client could be at a risk of abusing a drug either by taking underdose or overdose which would lead to drug resistance.
Selling of birth control to the students without proper diagnosis
Birth controls have mostly been abused by university students without knowing that the use might increase the risk of long-term health problems like the cardiovascular problem and cancer risks.
Selling antibiotics for the wrong diseases
Recent studies have shown that clients abuse antibiotics which tend to build resistance to diseases.
Unqualified pharmacists will sell drugs to patients without any consent of the right drugs and what diseases they are curing.
Unlicensed chemists
Chemists in Kenya should be licensed by Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya.
Always ensure that the chemist you are buying drugs from is licensed.
