Cord senators held a strategy meeting on Tuesday evening, at Parliament buildings, over the Election Laws 2016.
This was ahead of a Senate special sitting,, Wednesday, which senators would debate the Laws after Jubilee MPs approved it at the National Assembly.
Led by Bungoma Senator, Senate Majority Leader Moses Wetangula, the Cord senators agreed on possible ways to turn down the controversial laws.
Cord MPs had boycotted the session which saw the amendments passed last week, and walked to Milimani Law Courts to lodge complaint.
The changes on the electoral laws allow manual transmission of election results and identification of voters if the electronic system fails.
According to Cord, this is a ploy by Jubilee to rig the 2017 polls.
