Deputy president William Ruto was among the few noticeable figures in Machakos during the Harambee stars -Zanzibar Cecafa final game which Kenya won 3-2 on penalties after a 2-2 draw. The DP could not hide his joy for this historical win.

He termed goalkeeper Patrick Matasi as a hero.
