After, ODM delegates passed on Friday to unanimously support Raila Odinga as the NASA flag bearer, a house in Karen has been a bee hive of activities as President Uhuru Kenyatta key pointman Deputy President William Ruto held a series of meeting to ensure Uhuru is reelected.

The meetings at DP Ruto's Karen home are all in bid to neutralise Odinga and penetrate NASA strongholds.

According to DP Ruto's spokesman David Mugonyi, the DP has met with Jubilee leaders from Coast, Western and Ukambani over the past one week where they apparently discussed at length Jubilee's progress in the areas aforementioned and also set new targets for winners in Jubilee primaries..

"The DP has met the leaders who have also met the President. This is part of Jubilee's campaign strategy," said Mugonyi.

Ruto has also been the chief mobiliser of key figures from perceived NASA strongholds, it has also been reported that he is keen to deliver at least five seats from Ukambani region amidst the NASA furore in the region.

"We have a strategy. We know some of the aspirants from Ukambani will not make it, but we are sure to deliver not ess than five parliamentary seats," said a top Jubilee strategist.

Last week Friday, the DP also met leaders from Nyamira, Kisii, Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, Tana River and Taita counties counties which are perceived NASA strongholds as they seek to infiltrate the opposition backyard. The delegation was lead by Kisii Senator and gubernatorial seat hopeful Chris Obure and Nyamira's Walter Nyambati while Coastal delegation was under the stewardship of Kwale governor Salim Mvurya.
