The recent agreement between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga seems to be working, as the two parties continue to forge a working relationship.

The effects of the Harambee House handshake a fortnight ago have also been felt in parliament. Opposition lawmakers will now participate in the vetting of Attorney General nominee Paul Kihara today, Thursday. 

NASA submitted its list of nine members for the exercise to the Appointments Committee, headed by Speaker Justine Muturi. 

This happens even as the NASA coalition seems to be on the rocks, with a crisis meeting called to deliberate on the next move.

The relations in the opposition coalition have been getting murkier by the day, and it went a notch higher when ODM kicked out Moses Wetangula from the influential Minority Leader in the Senate post. 

The other parties have also accused Odinga of getting into an agreement with Kenyatta without informing them.
