Songs of dance characterised the mood in Eldoret town on Monday moments after the Supreme Court made a declaration validating President Uhuru Kenyatta's win in the October 26 repeat presidential election.

Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago and his Deputy Daniel Chemno together with MPs Oscar Sudi (Kapseret), Caleb Kositany (Soy), William Chepkut (Ainabkoi) and Silas Tiren (Moiben) joined hundreds of Jubilee supporters in celebrations.

The governor together with other elected Jubilee leader's convoy snaked its way around the Eldoret streets before the vehicles were later abandoned as the politicians joined supporters in dance and songs on the busy Uganda road.Here are some of the photos captured during the celebrations.
