In a move to ensure a large voter turnout in the upcoming presidential elections a section of leaders drawn from Kisii county has vowed to mobilise other elected leaders in the county to ensure locals turn out in numbers.

According to Bogeka MCA Charles Mochoge, there are a number of registered voters who are outside the county and they will ensure that they home to vote.

Speaking on Wednesday while campaigning for NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga in his hometown the MCA called upon those who will not be able to raise the transport fee to contact him and he will pay some for them.

“There was a lower tun out in Kisii county in the recently concluded elections and we dong want to come up again as we want Raila to carry the day,” he added.

He also called upon the    IEBC to ensure that they comply with the conditions given by IEBC so that Kenya can hold a free and fair election.
