The National Super Alliance (Nasa) has called off a media briefing that was supposed to be held at Capitol Hill offices, Nairobi.
The briefing, was to be attended by all Nasa principals Raila Odinga (ODM), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya), Tuesday afternoon.
ODM Executive Director, Dennis Onyango, had already issued an alert about the event, before it was called off.
''The leadership of the National Super Alliance will hold a media briefing on a range of national issues at the Capitol Hill at 12:30 PM today, April 4, 2017. We invite you to the briefing,'' Onyango said, before it was cancelled.
It is believed the meeting was called off, after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), invited Nasa to a meeting, Thursday April 6, to deliberate on major concerns.
Some of the issues that Nasa was to address during the media briefing, include the proposal to have a parallel tallying centre, which IEBC disputed.
Nasa principals further met members of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) at the Capitol Hill.
