City business mogul Jimmy Wanjigi reportedly moved in with speed to quell tension within NASA coalition hours after Raila Odinga's inauguration.

With Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi missing from action, NASA supporters took them head-on, with some labeling them cowards.

"We are not going to entertain cowards in our camp. They better quit because they are not part of us," said Miguna Miguna.

Understandably, Kalonzo convened a press conference where he defended their absence on claims that they were under house arrest.

But Wanjigi, who rarely speaks in public, is said to have convened a meeting with all principals and urged them to stick together.

"Jimmy was concerned about the fallout given that NASA has not achieved what they want. He looked for the four and convened a meeting.

"He later organised a press conference where all of them were present. Of course there are issues to be addressed but he quelled tension," said an ODM lawyer who did not will to be mentioned.

At the briefing, Raila defended his colleagues and urged supporters to remain calm as they organise for Kalonzo's swearing-in.
