Mombasa county governor Ali Hassan Joho ushered in 2018 in style. 

Joho joined the residents of Mombasa at Mama Ngina grounds on Sunday night to welcome the much awaited New Year. 

The event was marked with songs and dance as the NASA governor called on peaceful co-existance among Kenyans in 2018.

"Happy New Year to you all, lets make this a special year by preaching peaceful co-existence amongst ourselves. Blessed 2018," said Joho.
