The National Super Alliance (Nasa) postponed its scheduled rally in Kisii to Tuesday August 1, due to interference from the Jubilee Party campaign.

"Nasa was the first to book the Gusii Stadium for its rally 31st July 2017 but has since been informed that Jubilee has a rally scheduled at the same venue July 31," read a statement from the coalition's, campaign team.

"While Nasa notes with concern Jubilee’s interference in its campaign and has the documents to prove it, the coalition will not get into unnecessary contest with Jubilee over the Gusii Stadium in Kisii."

Nasa added that Jubilee was looking for a chance to drag the coalition into side shows and "unnecessary drama because of its failing fortunes. NASA has no time for that."

"Although we had paid for Gusii Stadium facilities, we shall allow Jubilee to have it on Monday and move our rally to Tuesday,'' said the Raila odinga-led Opposition alliance.

A Gusii campaign schedule from the alliance indicated the team would split into two, to traverse the region.

Team 1, would tour; Masimba, Nyachenki, Tendere, Marani, and Nyakoe areas.

Team 2, would tour; Magenche, Chitago Borabu, Nyamarambe, and Suneka Market.

All the two teams would finally meet at the Gusii Stadium, for a major political rally.
