Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka declarion to be sworn-in alongside NASA leader Raila Odinga has be criticized by a Jubilee Member of Parliament.
Turkana South Member or Parliament (MP) James Lomenen has said it was a surprise to make such an announcement by Kalonzo considering that Jubilee legislators threw their weight in support of his son Kennedy Musyoka’s nomination to the East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA)
Lomenen said that it was ironic for Kalonzo to push for unconstituitional means of gaining power.
"Jubilee MPs supported both Kennedy Kalonzo and Oburu Odinga to secure their positions at EALA, and I am shocked when Kalonzo returned to the country and instead of holding a press conference to thank President Uhuru Kenyatta, he went ahead announcing swearing-in plans," he said.
The lawamker said that Kalonzo should be thanking the Jubilee MPs who rallied behind his son Kennedy.
Speaking in West Pokot county during a peace meeting, the lawmaker said that it is time Raila and Kalonzo drop their quest for presidency.
