The failure of opposition leader Kalonzo Musyoka to appear alongside Raila Odinga at Uhuru Park to take the oath of office hit NASA supporters like a bolt from the blue.

Asked whether the swearing-in would proceed as scheduled, the former Vice-President was non-commital only saying that ''we are still consulting''.

A journalist of a mainstream television station, Muremi Mwangi, has revealed how they tried to trail the opposition leader but their efforts were thwarted by a car that was part of Kalonzo's convoy blocked them, giving him the opportunity to disappear into thin air.

The journalists tried to locate him but in vain, he was nowhere to be seen.

Non-verbal communication experts contend that his non-verbal cues conveyed more than his words gave away.
