Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, whose was part of South Africa’s liberation died on Monday aged 8.

According to her spokesperson Victor Dlamini, Winnie died in Johanesburg after a long battle with illness.

She died at the Netcare Milpark Hospital.

After her death, a number of Kenyan leaders eulogized her as a great leader.
