US-based Amherst College, has said it will not release academic grades of president Uhuru Kenyatta, to anyone.

According to the institution, which Uhuru graduated from in 1985, it does not reveal any personal information, without specific individual's consideration.

The college was replying to inquest from a section of Kenyans, on social media, who piled questions to the institution, through @AmherstCollege ‏on Twitter, with some mistaking it to an almost similar-named college.

According to a publication on amherstbulletin.com, the president did not study at University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst), but rather studied at Amherst College, in US.

“Uhuru Kenyatta has no affiliation w/ UMass Amherst. He attended Amherst College, a different school located in the same town as UMass,” officials wrote, as quoted by Amherst Bulletin April 4.

Uhuru who graduated with a degree in Economics and Political Science was put on spot following government's investigation into academic information of Mombasa governor Hassan Joho.
